Secretary of War Pete Hegseth announced today that the president has made the following nominations:
Army Maj. Gen. Brian W. Gibson for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general, with assignment as military deputy to the Direct Reporting Program Manager for Golden Dome for America, Pentagon, Washington, D.C. Gibson is currently serving as director, plans and policy, J-5, U.S. Space Command, Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado.
Air Force Maj. Gen. Mark B. Pye for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general, with assignment as military deputy to the Direct Reporting Portfolio Manager for Critical Major Weapon Systems, Pentagon, Washington, D.C. Pye is currently serving as the director of Programs, Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Plans and Programs, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.
