Warialda Water Supply - PFAS Testing - Private Bore Owners

As part of a NSW Government bore water screening program, free sampling of privately owned bores within the Warialda community will be available on the following dates and times:

  • Wednesday 14 May 2025 from 1pm – 4pm
  • Thursday 15 May 2025 from 9am – 12pm and 1pm – 4pm.

The NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA) understand that the Warialda community may have questions and have arranged for a drop-in session at the Warialda Council Chambers on Tuesday 13 May 2025 between 10am and 12pm.

The EPA is supporting Council to try and locate the source of PFAS in the Warialda water supply. Residents of Warialda are being offered free bore sampling on their property. Participants will receive the results for their bore and the information may help identify the source of the PFAS in the water supply.

Anyone in Warialda, with either a registered or un-registered bore, who wants to participate in the sampling program, please complete the online registration form below:
