Council is committed to keeping our community informed about the Warialda water supply. Recent testing of the Crane Street bore has confirmed it is currently free of PFAS. From Monday 24 November 2025, the bore will return to service on a trial basis.
Over the coming weeks Council staff will closely monitor reservoir levels and bore pump usage, while increasing the frequency of routine water quality testing. At this stage, there is no change to current water restrictions however if the bore is permanently recommissioned Council will be able to consider easing existing restrictions.
