A Warner woman has done a happy dance after discovering she snapped up a $250,000 Instant Scratch-Its top prize win and can kick her mortgage to the curb.
The Moreton Bay resident's winning $20 Colossal Crosswords Instant Scratch-Its ticket was purchased at Nextra Warner, Warner Village Shopping Centre, Shop 14, 353 Samsonvale Road, Warner.
"I'm over the moon!" the winning woman said when we rang to confirm her prize.
"It's a great win. I think it's going to take a while for it to start to feel real.
"I was holding onto the $250,000 winning ticket for about a week. I was starting to get nervous.
"I went into The Lott Head Office today to claim my prize, and my nerves have started to subside a little.
"It'll feel real once it's in the bank account.
"I'll be able to pay off the mortgage a lot earlier than anticipated. We might even be able to go on a holiday too."
Nextra Warner owner Russell Went shared he was thrilled to see his outlet sell a $250,000 top prize-winning Instant Scratch-Its ticket to a local woman.
"It's fantastic! We love to see a big winner come from our outlet," he said.
"We've sold several major prize-winning tickets over the years. I believe our biggest to date would be a Saturday Gold Lotto prize worth $750,000.
"Congratulations to our winner. We hope you enjoy your prize."
