Warrant leads to drugs arrests

Police from Croydon Divisional Tasking Unit have arrested four people following a number of warrants that were executed today.

A search warrant was executed at Catherine Street, Ringwood and a 36-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman, both from Ringwood were arrested at the address.

The premises was searched and police allege they found drugs, a large quantity of cash, weapons and ammunition.

Further warrants were executed at a factory in Hallam and a residential address in Rowville.

A clandestine lab, drugs and chemicals were located and a 45-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman, both from Rowville were arrested.

The 22-year-old woman was bailed while the other three offenders are still assisting police with their enquires.

Sergeant Ell McGibbony from Croydon Divisional Tasking Unit said the result was a win for the community.

"As a result we have dismantled a complex and well organised illicit drug trafficking syndicate."

"It marks a significant win for both Victoria Police and the wider community."
