Warwick House Fire Arrest, WA

Arson Squad officers have charged two juveniles as a result of their investigation into two fires at a home on Willow Road in Warwick.

It will be alleged on 17 April 2017 the youths broke into the home, stealing various items before setting fire to the house. The fire caused extensive structural damage to the building, WA Police say.

It is further alleged on 1 May 2017, they returned to the home and set fires within the premises.

As a result of the damage caused by the fires the home had to be demolished. The estimated damage cost is $475,000.

A 17 year old boy from Marangaroo and a 15 year old girl from Warwick have been charged with:-

•Two counts of Burglary and Commit;

•Two counts of Criminal Damage by Fire and

•Two counts of Stealing.

They are due to appear before the Perth Children’s Court today, 10 May 2017.
