Watch out for watches - Essendon burglary

Detectives from the Moonee Valley Crime Investigation Unit are appealing for public assistance to help reunite jewellery and watches with their rightful owners, Victoria Police say.

Investigators believe an unknown number of offenders gained entry to the Curtis Street home sometime between 1pm and 9pm on Friday 9 December.

The offenders ransacked the premises and stole a large amount of jewellery and a number of watches, some of which were inherited from the victim’s now deceased mother and father.

Investigators have released images of jewellery and watch similar to the ones that have been stolen in the hope that someone recognises them and can provide information on their whereabouts.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
