Please be advised that weather permitting, water main replacement works are scheduled for the entire length of Short Street, Cooma.
This essential work is expected to commence Monday 13 September 2021 and will carry through to Friday 8 October 2021. Works will be carried out between 7am and 6pm from Monday to Friday.
Local traffic movement will be permitted under site staff direction.
Snowy Monaro Regional Council staff and contractors will not require access onto private property.
McMahons has been awarded this contract and will be issuing notices directly to individual residents prior to any interruption of individual resident's water supply.
Any road pavement, driveways and paths affected by the reconstruction work will be repaired or replaced as part of the project works.
Council apologises for any inconvenience this work may cause and asks residents and motorists to be mindful of crews and machinery that will be working on and around this project.
