Police have responded to a report relating to a man being in difficulty in the water near Gulf Harbour.
The report was received before 3pm and emergency services attended the area shortly after, conducting a search in the area.
A short time later, the Police Eagle helicopter located the man in the water and he was brought back to shore.
He is now receiving medical treatment for non-life threatening injuries.
