Waterloo Fatal Crash Charge, WA

Major Crash investigators have charged a 46 year old man as a result of their investigation into a fatal crash in Waterloo at approximately 4:12pm on Sunday 23 October 2016.

The man was riding a Yamaha off-road motorcycle with a 10 year old female pillion passenger, WA Police say.

It will be alleged the motorcycle was travelling on Clifton Road when the rider failed to negotiate a left hand bend causing him to lose control of the motorcycle and crash.

The 10 year old female pillion passenger died at the scene and the rider was air lifted to Royal Perth Hospital with serious injuries.

The 46 year old man of Waterloo has been charged with:-

•Dangerous Driving Causing Death and

•Excess 0.08%

He is due to appear before the Bunbury Magistrates Court on Thursday, 1 December 2016.
