  • Wednesday, 2 September 2026: 9am to 1pm
  • Saturday, 5 September 2026: 9am to 12pm

There will be 17 different wattle species available to choose from at the open days, and the staff at the Hawkesbury Community Nursery are confident they will have the right species of wattle to suit the soil at your home, making sure your wattle flourishes and provides the incredible benefits of owning a native plant.

Wattles are excellent for attracting birds, insects, possums and gliders because of their ability to provide food and the perfect habitat for native animals.

So, wattle on down to the Hawkesbury Community Nursery this September to find your perfect, native plant.

If you are not looking for a wattle but are interested in picking up some other native plants for your home garden, you can still visit Hawkesbury Community Nursery on these open days.
