The Government of Canada is helping visitors and residents navigate with ease and discover all that the Cape Breton Regional Municipality (CBRM) has to offer.

Today, Mike Kelloway, Member of Parliament for Sydney-Glace Bay, announced a non-repayable contribution of $400,000 to the CBRM for its wayfinding project.

The announcement was made on behalf of the Honourable Sean Fraser, Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada and Minister responsible for the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency.

This investment supports the installation of signage, digital kiosks, landscaping, benches, and bike racks in high-traffic areas. The project will guide people from arrival points into the many destinations throughout the municipality, encouraging exploration, longer stays, and stronger connections with local businesses.

Today's announcement reinforces the Government of Canada's commitment to building vibrant, inclusive communities and supporting tourism-driven growth across Atlantic Canada.
