'We Are Resilient' Photography/Artwork Awards Program for Children

Willoughby City

Colourful watercolour paint palettes and markers

Willoughby City Council has partnered with Chatswood RSL through its ClubGRANTS program to celebrate outstanding achievements and contributions of primary school children in our community through the 'We Are Resilient' awards program.

Council is calling on children aged 5-12 years who have done something exceptional to submit a photo or artwork with a story demonstrating their resilience. The award prize pool provides a chance to win one of six prizes including digital cameras and book vouchers.

COVID-19 has had a major impact on children and families in our community and, more than ever, children have demonstrated their resilience through acts of kindness, changing lives, helping their community, promoting a good cause, volunteering and generally 'making a difference'.

Submissions close on Friday 25 February 2022. All nominated children will be invited to an awards ceremony (COVID restrictions permitting) where Willoughby Mayor Tanya Taylor will present the awards and prizes for each age group.
