Putting up posters or flyers on public or private property without permission – known as Illegal bill-posting – creates unsightly clutter and mess in our streets.
Bill-posting without permission can cause damage to property and often ends up as litter in our waterways. It's also illegal.
Recently we took legal action against Babylon Festival Co Pty Ltd bill-posting without consent in the City of Yarra. Babylon Festival Co were found guilty in the magistrate's court and given a good behaviour bond and ordered to pay over $3000 in legal fees, fines and clean-up costs.
