Webberton fire

Geraldton Detectives are seeking information to assist in their investigation into a fire in Webberton on Sunday, 6 March 2022.

About 5.50pm, Police and Department of Fire and Emergency Services were called to a large fire at a business premises on Anderson Street. The cause of the fire is being treated as suspicious.

The fire caused extensive damage to several business and the damage bill estimated at $750,000.

Detectives urge anyone with information relating to this fire, or CCTV or dash-cam vision of the area around the time of the fire, to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.

Rewards of up to $25,000 are available for information that leads to the identification and conviction of an arsonist.
