Weekend works at Black Rock Life Saving Pavilion

We're full steam ahead on the construction of the new life saving pavilion at Black Rock Beach.

Works on the Black Rock Life Saving Pavilion commenced in January 2023 with significant progress already being made to redevelop the site to provide modern, fit-for-purpose facilities for life savers and our community.

This Saturday 13 May, we'll be continuing our progress on site with concreting works scheduled to take place.

To complete these works, a number of trucks are expected to be crossing over the shared path as they move in and out of the site throughout the day.

To ensure safety, two traffic controllers will be present to manage pedestrians on the shared trail and cars on Beach Road.

Traffic management will be set up on Beach Road on Saturday morning, with works expected to continue until approximately 4pm. Works will be undertaken in accordance with EPA requirements.

This exciting progress brings us another step closer towards delivering a new and improved facility for the Black Rock Life Saving Club and the visitors to the Black Rock Beach.
