Weekly donation welcomed by Australian charities

Breast Cancer Network Australia

A generous $10,000 donation has made Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) members the first beneficiaries of a unique patronage program.

Give 52 – the brainchild of philanthropists Jenny and Anton Gaudry – will result in a $10,000 gift each week to an Australian charity.

BCNA CEO Kirsten Pilatti said the Gaudry's donation would provide immediate benefits.

'Breast cancer doesn't take a holiday. Every day, 55 Australians hear the news they've been diagnosed with this disease and, more than ever, need the support that BCNA provides.

'We have kept out free Helpline open over the holiday season to ensure any Australian affected by breast cancer does not feel left alone. This substantial gift from Jenny and Anton is appreciated by everyone at BCNA,' said Kirsten.

Anton said the Gaudry Foundation was delighted to start their campaign with support for BCNA.

'We are proud to help the support BCNA provides for all Australians, regardless of where they live.'

The Gaudrys are encouraging people to join them in their campaign and help BCNA and all Australian charities.

'A small weekly donation to a worthwhile cause can make a big difference over a year and we are happy to lead by example.'
