Wellard Robbery

Rockingham Detectives are currently investigating an aggravated robbery that occurred in Wellard on Monday 19 July 2021.

Around 8:40pm the victim, a man in his 20s, was walking home from the Wellard Train Station. He was walking on Lambeth Circle near Poratbello Parade when he was approached by two males.

One male punched the victim to the face and the other male struck the victim with an unknown object before stealing the victim's mobile phone and running from the arearm the scene.

Police have release a composite image of male one who is described fair skinned, 16 to 18 years old, 165 to 170 cms tall, with a thin build and short hair. He was wearing a white jumper, black trousers and black shoes (image attached).

Male two fair skinned, 18 to 20 years old, 170 to 175 cms tall with a thin build. He was wearing a black hooded jumper, light coloured trousers with black shoes (image attached).

Detecives would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the robbery or who may have dash-cam or phone phone footage from the area at the time.
