Wentworth Shire Council would like to inform the residents of Wentworth that Contractor Insituform will continue to under an asset inspection of the sewer network in Wentworth township. The asset inspection is of the old (1950's) clay sewer pipes and access pits. Asset inspection will not occur in the East portion of Wentworth township.
Asset inspection will re-commence from Monday 28 April 2025 through to Friday 16 April 2025, works are not expected on weekends and hours will be kept to between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm.
Brief roadwork diversions may be in place for some roads and laneways to enable access to complete the inspections. Access to some backyards will also be required for those properties that have sewer mains located in backyards. Letter drops and additional contact will be made for residence that require access to private property.
Wentworth Shire Council apologises for any inconvenience while this important inspection is undertaken.
