Students from the University of Plymouth are planning to build their own race car, with ambitions to race at one of the most famous racetracks in the world.
The team from UoP Racing is currently working to design a car for the Formula Student competition at Silverstone this summer and build one for the 2025 competition the following year.
The annual event welcomes teams from universities across the world, with elements of business acumen and communication assessed in addition to the quality and speed of the vehicle they've built.
It's the team's second year entering the concept class, and they are utilising the University's new Babbage Building - containing state-of-the-art teaching and research facilities for design and engineering - to make the dream a reality.
