We're Transforming Five Dock Park

We've begun a multimillion-dollar upgrade of Five Dock Park, enhancing pedestrian access, improving road safety, and delivering upgraded amenities and recreational opportunities for the community to enjoy.

The project follows community consultation on our Five Dock Park Precinct Masterplan, where we received overwhelming support for road safety treatments, parking spaces, a new multi-court, and more.

Together, the upgrades will deliver:

  • Improved recreation facilities with the refurbishment of the existing multi-court and the construction of an additional new multi-court
  • Increased parking availability with 19 new car spaces along Barnstaple Road
  • Better road safety through the installation of speed cushions and new bike racks

Construction of a new amenities building featuring home and away change rooms, a kiosk, a club room and storage will commence following completion of these works.

The multi-court upgrades are funded through the Local Small Commitments Allocation Program. Council acknowledges the work of State Member for Drummoyne, Stephanie Di Pasqua, for securing this funding.

The pedestrian accessibility, road safety, parking and amenity upgrades are funded by the NSW Government in partnership with the City of Canada Bay.
