Werribee speedster

Police have impounded a motorcycle after it was allegedly detected travelling at over 250km/h in Werribee on Saturday night.

Officers observed the 2019 Aprilia travelling at high speed along the Princes Freeway about 8.30pm.

The bike was ridden to an address in Wyndham Vale and local Westgate Highway Patrol members were notified and attended.

They spoke to a 28-year-old Wyndham Vale man and he is expected to be charged on summons for driving at a speed dangerous and other traffic offences.

His bike has been impounded with towing costs of $1006.10.
