The Department of Health has reported no new cases of COVID-19 overnight in WA.
The positive case reported yesterday, a maritime crew member from the Allegra vessel, has been reclassified as an historical case and deleted from WA's list of confirmed cases.
The State's total has been reduced to 1018.
Western Australia now has one active case of COVID-19 – 1008 people have recovered from the virus in WA.
Yesterday, 870 people were swabbed at WA Health COVID clinics.

To date, 96 cases of variant strains have been detected in Western Australia – 53 of the B.1.1.7 strain, 15 of the B.1.351 strain, 27 of the B.1.617 strain (Indian variant) and one of the P1 variant (Brazilian variant).**
There have been 1,201,329 COVID-19 tests performed in WA. Of those, 153,340 were from regional WA.
The State Government has issued advice for travellers who have recently returned from Victoria, and they are reminded to continue to monitor the Vic Health website for updated exposure locations.
WA Health is aware of new exposure sites in New South Wales linked to the Victorian outbreak. Anyone who has been to one of the listed exposure sites on the NSW Health website is encouraged to get tested and self-quarantine until they receive a negative test result.
WA will continue to seek information on the Victorian outbreak and other affected jurisdictions and will provide updated health advice as required.
