Western Australia Covid update as at 18 November 2021

WA Health is reporting one new case of COVID-19 overnight, an overseas traveller who is in hotel quarantine.

The State's total now stands at 1117. To date, 1103 people have recovered from the virus in WA. WA is monitoring five active cases who are all in hotel quarantine.

Border controls

Information about Western Australia's controlled border arrangements, conditions of entry and quarantine is available online.

Northern Territory

Based on the latest health advice, the Northern Territory has transitioned from 'very low risk' to 'low risk' border controls under Western Australia's controlled border effective Tuesday, 16 November (4pm WST).

Tasmania

Anyone who has been to an exposure location listed on the Tasmania website (external site) should quarantine until they have been advised otherwise by Public Health.

Anyone who has recently arrived from Tasmania and has not visited any of the listed venues should present for COVID-19 testing if they develop symptoms and keep checking the list of exposure sites.

Testing clinics

Yesterday, 291 people were swabbed at State-run clinics. To date, there have been 1,917,785 COVID-19 tests performed in WA. Of those, 219,926 were in regional WA.
