Western suburbs man to face child sex offences

A western suburbs man was arrested today in relation to child sex offences.

Detectives from Special Crimes Investigation Branch today attended the 31-year-old's home address and arrested him.

He was charged with making a child amenable to sexual activity, indecent assault and gross indecency.

He was refused police bail and will appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court at the earliest opportunity.

Detective Chief Inspector Matthew Lyons, Officer in Charge, Special Crimes Investigation Section encourages anyone with information about child abuse to report it.

"I urge anyone with information about people involved in child exploitation or abuse to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 - you can remain anonymous.

"If you or someone you know has been impacted by child sexual abuse or online exploitation there are support services available at www.accce.gov.au/support."
