Westpac to offer workplace booster jab program
Westpac has today confirmed it will provide employees and their families COVID-19 booster vaccinations, as part of the Government's corporate vaccination program.
This comes as many of Westpac's Sydney and Melbourne based employees who have been working from home return to head offices and corporate centres in CBDs and satellite CBD hubs, such as Parramatta and Concord.
Westpac CEO, Peter King, said: "High vaccination rates have allowed most Australians to get back to a fairly normal way of life, including those coming back to our workplaces in a phased and safe way.
"This program means we can offer our employees and their families free, easily accessible booster jabs, helping to keep them safe.
"With the vast majority of our workforce fully vaccinated, we're excited to welcome employees back to our Sydney and Melbourne offices, as we look to bring some vibrancy back to the CBDs," Mr King said.
