Lake Macquarie City Council
Persistent wet weather has led to the partial closure of the Fernleigh Track, due to fallen trees and a number of roads to be closed across Lake Macquarie.
The Fernleigh Track is closed from the Lake Macquarie side of the tunnel along the track, near Adamstown, to Station Street Whitebridge, near Whitebridge shops. A crew is onsite clearing the fallen trees.
Most closed roads have since reopened. The following road remains closed
- Creek Reserve Road, Boolaroo
The following roads have reopened.
- Kalaroo Road, Redhead
- Deaves Road, Cooranbong / Mandalong
- Karog Street, Pelican (between Ninag Street and Karoburra Street)
- Appletree Road, Barnsley
- King Street, Warners Bay
- Oakdale Road, Gateshead (near Nevin Close)
Motorists are advised to proceed with caution and drive to conditions.
