Whiskey business in Brunswick East

Brunswick police are hoping to identify a man following a theft of alcohol from a bottle shop in Brunswick East on 19 February.

It is believed a man entered the store on Lygon Street and stole five bottles of whiskey just after midday.

The thief placed the bottles into his backpack and was approached by staff before running from the store.

Investigators have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
