Detectives are investigating an alleged road rage incident at Nerang yesterday afternoon.
Just after 2pm, a 40-year-old man was driving a blue Toyota FJ Cruiser with a woman and child also in the car.
A blue Ford Falcon and white Toyota allegedly pushed the FJ Cruiser off Beudesert-Nerang Road, near Bartlett Street.
Several men got out of the two vehicles and allegedly struck the FJ Cruiser with objects, causing significant damage to the vehicle.
A 4-year-old boy suffered minor injuries after being showered with glass as it shattered. The man and woman were not physically injured.
Investigators are appealing for anyone who witnessed or has vision of the incident to come forward.
