The lucky Queenslander was one of the seven division one winners in the Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4441 on February 10, 2024, each securing a life-changing prize of $2,857,142.86. The winning man says he checked his ticket straight after the draw on Saturday night and was left shocked by the revelation he was a newly minted multi-millionaire.
“It feels so amazing – like a dream!” he exclaimed when lotto officials called to confirm his win.
“This is one of the best calls I’ve received in a long time.
“I discovered it straight after the draw and I had to pinch myself a couple of times to see if it was real. I thought maybe my eyes were deceiving me.
“I’ve told a couple of family members but will keep it private.
