Willetton Truck Stealing Charges

Cannington Detectives have charged four people following an investigation into an incident that occurred in Willetton on Tuesday, 5 May 2026.

About 8.30am, it will be alleged a white 2018 Isuzu delivery truck was stolen from outside an address on Barbette Road while the driver was making a delivery.

It will be further alleged the truck, later found abandoned in High Wycombe, contained whitegoods and electronic items valued at approximately $50,000.

As a result of information provided by the community, a person of interest was identified and arrested following a short foot chase in Riverton on Friday, 22 May 2026.

A 42-year-old man from Willetton has been charged with:

• 1 x Steal Motor Vehicle

• 1 x Stealing

• 1 x No Authority to Drive (Never Held)

• 3 x Possess a Prohibited Drug

He has been bailed to appear before the Armadale Magistrates Court on Wednesday, 10 June 2026.

As part of the investigation, officers executed a search warrant at an address in Forrestfield, where some of the stolen property was located and seized.

A 43-year-old man from Forrestfield has been charged with one count of Receiving. He has been bailed to appear before the Midland Magistrates Court on a date to be determined.

A 56-year-old man from High Wycombe and a 17-year-old girl from Forrestfield have also been charged with drug-related offences and will be summonsed to appear before the court at a later date.
