A man has had his licence suspended after being detected driving over three times the legal blood alcohol limit in Windsor this morning.
Prahran police spotted the man parking a 2019 Ford Mustang in a no standing zone outside a bottle shop on Chapel Street just before 3am.
The vehicle was parked a significant distance from the curb, and when the driver got out, he appeared unsteady on his feet.
Police breath tested the 30-year-old who returned a result of 0.181.
His licence was immediately suspended; the Flemington man is expected to be charged on summons with drink driving related offences.
Police did not impound the vehicle after checks revealed it was a hire car.
