Winemaker Natalie Fryer headlines Hobart launch of Collective - Inspiring Women in Business

MAS National

MAS National are pleased to launch the Hobart chapter of Collective – Inspiring Women in Business on Wednesday 16th October, 2019.

Established in Launceston and powered by MAS National, Collective is an inclusive networking group for women in business.

Collective networking events provide women from any industry, at any stage of their career, the opportunity to connect with like-minded women and hear from guest speakers sharing their expertise, insights and career journeys.

Celebrated winemaker Natalie Fryer joins the Hobart launch event to speak about her career in the traditionally male-dominated winemaking industry, and the challenges she faced on the path to success.

Natalie has enjoyed a stellar career that has taken her all over the world. Known in the industry as 'The Queen of Bubbles', Natalie spent more than 14 years as winemaker at Jansz Tasmania helping to establish it as a leading Australian sparkling wine specialist.

Today, Natalie has her own sparkling wine company Bellebonne, as well as a gin company, Abel Gin. Natalie also consults to numerous wineries including Pipers Brook Vineyard, who make sparkling wine under the Kreglinger, Pipers Brook and Ninth Island labels.

The story of how Natalie came to be one of the best winemakers in the country is one worth hearing.

Guest speakers at Launceston Collective events have included Kate Carnell – The Australian Small Business & Family Enterprise Ombudsman; Dr Polly McGee – Author, Entrepreneur, Digital Strategist & Yogi; and Sara Redman – Director at SRA Corporate Change.

With the launch of the Hobart chapter, Collective is set to continue this legacy of providing women across Tasmania with access to career advice, insights and expertise shared by successful women in business.

All proceeds from ticket sales of the Hobart launch of Collective will be donated to Hobart Women's Shelter to support vulnerable women and children.
