Embrace movement, connection and wellbeing this winter as the Active Outdoors June program rolls out a schedule of activities designed for all fitness levels - from gentle, mindful movement to high-energy group training.

With a strong focus on accessibility and community, the June lineup combines structured training, social connection and outdoor experiences

Program Highlights

6-Week Yoga Development Program

Running from 10 June to 16 July, this structured beginner program is a standout feature of the June calendar. Designed to build strong foundations, participants attend two 60-minute sessions per week across six weeks.

The progressive format focuses on:

  • Yoga technique and alignment
  • Breathwork and grounding
  • Mobility and joint health

By the end of the program, participants gain improved flexibility and body awareness to support an ongoing yoga practice.

Dawn2Dusk Membership Launch

Following the success of Camp Dawn — Winter Reset (May–June), we're introducing Dawn2Dusk, a new membership add-on launching 1 July.

Designed to maintain motivation and consistency beyond the winter program, Dawn2Dusk offers:

  • 6am coached sessions every Monday, Wednesday and Friday
  • A blend of strength, cardio and Box Fit training
  • Structured, progressive workouts for real results
  • A supportive, accountability-driven group environment

Location: Oakleigh Recreation Center Centre (indoor + outdoor)

Cost: $20 fortnightly add-on (Active Monash members only)

Dawn2Dusk provides the perfect next step for those wanting to keep their routine strong and momentum going year-round.

Full Activity Line-Up

Fit Circuit

A full-body, supportive workout suitable for all fitness levels. Fit Circuit combines strength, cardio and functional exercises in a welcoming group environment. Exercises are adaptable so participants can work at their own pace.

Seniors Circuit

Tailored for older adults, Seniors Circuit focuses on improving strength, balance, mobility and confidence. Exercises are gentle, functional and designed to support everyday movement and independence.

Walking Group

A relaxed, social way to stay active, the Walking Group offers guided walks suited to a range of abilities. It's ideal for those looking to improve fitness while connecting with others in a supportive setting.

Flexible and Weather-Ready

All sessions are designed to be held outdoors, making the most of local spaces. In the event of rain or extreme weather, activities will move indoors to nearby pavilions, ensuring consistency and participant comfort.
