Winterlude Closes Ottawa, Gatineau Streets

OTTAWA - Canadian Heritage would like to inform the public of the street closures in effect in Ottawa and Gatineau during the 45th Winterlude, which is taking place from February 3 to 20, 2023.

Only vehicles displaying a circulation access pass, residents with proof of residence, and emergency vehicles will be granted access to closed streets.

Ottawa

Queen Elizabeth Driveway between Somerset Street and Fifth Avenue

  • Saturdays and Sundays, February 4, 5, 11, 12, 18, and 19 from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
  • Monday, February 20 (Family Day) from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Gatineau

Laurier Street from Sacré-Cœur Boulevard to Dussault Street

Dussault Street from Laurier Street to Fournier Boulevard

Marston Street from Laurier Street to Notre-Dame-de-L'Île Street

Champlain Street and Notre-Dame-de-L'Île Street - Local circulation only

  • Thursdays and Fridays, February 3, 9, 10, 16, and 17 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., and from 1 p.m.to 3 p.m.
  • Saturdays and Sundays, February 4, 5, 11, 12, 18, and 19 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Monday, February 20 (Family Day), from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
