Witness appeal following Doncaster East burglary

Manningham Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for information following a burglary in Doncaster East earlier this month, Victoria Police say.

It is believed two men attended the storage facility of a residential apartment building on Doncaster Road about 7am on 10 October.

The offenders stole two bicycles and a set of gold clubs, as well as a backpack containing the victim’s wallet.

The victim’s bank cards have since been used at various locations in Ringwood, Croydon, Bayswater and Scoresby.

Police have released an image of one of the stolen bikes, as well as CCTV of two men who may be able to assist with enquiries.

One of the men is of a large build and was wearing a neon yellow high-visibility jacket, black beanie, charcoal/grey t-shirt, dark pants and camel-coloured lace-up work boots.

The other man is described as having a medium build and was wearing a black cap, black jacket, black tracksuit pants with white stripes and hiking boots.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
