Witness appeal following Glenroy pedestrian collision

Fawkner Highway Patrol police are appealing for public assistance following a collision between a car and a pedestrian in late October, Victoria Police say.

Emergency services were called to reports a red Hyundai struck a pedestrian on Post Office Place, Glenroy about 1.45pm on 24 October.

The pedestrian, a 92-year-old Oak Park, man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

He currently remains in hospital in a serious condition.

The driver of the car, a 66-year-old Essendon North woman, stopped at the scene.

She has since been interviewed by police and released pending further enquiries.

Investigators are hoping to speak with anyone who witnessed the incident or may have dash-cam vision of the incident or car leading up to the collision.
