Forensic Crash Unit officers are investigating after a male cyclist has collided with a car in Elanora this morning, 14 June.
Preliminary investigations indicate at 7.40am the bicyclist was travelling on Guineas Creek Road when he was struck by a Mitsubishi Outlander.
A 55-year-old Elanora man was transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a critical condition. The driver of the car was not physically injured.
Investigators are appealing for anyone travelling in the area at the time, or with further information or relevant vision to contact police.
Investigations remain ongoing.
