Police are seeking any witnesses or dashcam footage as part of an investigation into a domestic assault at Broadview last month.
About 8.20pm on Saturday 21 February, a woman was allegedly assaulted by a man on Hampstead Road, Broadview. It will be alleged the man tried to force her into a red Hyundai hatchback.
A passerby stopped and intervened and the man drove off by himself. Police were called and they spoke to the victim and passerby at the scene.
Fortunately, the victim was not seriously injured.
A 38-year-old man known to her was later arrested and charged with aggravated assault.
Investigators are appealing for any further witnesses or dashcam or mobile phone footage of this incident.
