Witnesses sought to Woolundunga crash, South Australia

Major Crash investigators are appealing for any witnesses or dashcam footage that may assist their investigation into a fiery fatal crash at Woolundunga earlier this month.

About 7pm, Sunday 6 March, emergency services were called to the Augusta Highway following a head-on crash between a Hyundai sedan and a Isuzu ute.

Sadly, the driver and sole occupant of the silver 2011 Hyundai i30, a 25-year-old Adelaide woman, died at the scene.

The driver of the ute, 57-year-old local man, sustained non-life threatening injuries and was taken to Port Augusta Hospital for treatment.

Major Crash investigators are seeking any witnesses to the crash, in particular, anyone who may have been overtaken by the silver Hyundai i30 sedan prior to the collision.
