Woman airlifted to hospital after being trapped under her car - Quakers Hill

Investigations are underway after a woman was trapped under a car in Quakers Hill today.

About 3.10pm (Wednesday 16 December 2020), emergency services were called to the carpark of a school on Barnier Road, Quakers Hill, after reports a woman was trapped under a car.

On arrival officers found a woman - the driver of the car - trapped under the wheel. She was treated at the scene before being airlifted to Westmead Hospital with serious leg injuries.

A second woman and a four-year-old child were also hit by the vehicle and suffered minor injuries.

Early investigations suggest as the woman got out of her car it started rolling back and trapped her underneath, while also striking the woman and child.

Inquiries continue by officers from Quakers Hill Police Area Command.
