Woman And Man Interviewed After Seddon Car Fire

A woman and man have been interviewed after a car was allegedly set alight in Seddon yesterday afternoon.

Emergency services responded to reports of a car ablaze on Walter Street about 5.30pm.

No one was inside the car at the time of the fire.

Officers from Footscray Police Station swiftly arrived on scene and conducted a thorough search of the area.

A 23-year-old Thomastown woman was arrested on Nicholson St about 5.55pm.

A 22-year-old man from Hoppers Crossing was arrested in Albert Street shortly after.

Both have been interviewed in relation to the matter and have been released pending further enquires.
