Woman arrested after stolen car found at Para Hills, SA

A woman has been arrested after she was caught driving a stolen car at Para Hills this morning, according to SA Police.

Just after 5am, police will allege they saw a red Toyota sedan driving on Philip Highway. Checks of the registration revealed it had been stolen from a nearby Elizabeth South address.

Patrols did not pursue the car, but instead called in other patrols to monitor the Toyota as it continued through the northern suburbs.

Police stopped the car at a service station on Bridge Road and arrested the female driver.

The 29-year-old woman from Blakeview will face charges including illegal use of a motor vehicle and unlawful possession. She will appear in court at a later date.
