A woman is due to appear in court today charged after a search warrant was executed at a home in Scone yesterday, NSW Police say.
Officers from Hunter Valley Police District went to a home on Scott Street, Scone, about 4pm (Monday 8 October 2018), to execute a Firearms Protection Order (FPO).
When police searched the home, they seized two replica pistols, two sets of knuckledusters, an electronic stun device disguised as a set of knuckledusters, and cannabis.
A 46-year-old woman was arrested at the scene and taken to Muswellbrook Police Station where she was charged with 13 offences:
- Firearm found at premises – subject to prohibition order
- Use prohibited weapon contrary to prohibition order
- Possess prohibited weapon without permit
- Acquire pistol – subject to firearms prohibition order (x2)
- Use, supply etc stolen firearm or firearm part
- Possess prohibited drug (x2)
- Owner/occupier knowingly allow use as drug premises
- Possess unauthorised pistol (x2)
- Goods suspected stolen in/on premises
- Resist or hinder police officer in the execution of duty
She was refused bail to appear at Muswellbrook Local Court later today (Tuesday 9 October 2018).
