Woman charged after theft at open house, NSW

A real estate agent has been charged over an alleged theft during an open house in Sydney’s Northern beaches., NSW Police say

It will be alleged that on Saturday 20 October 2018, an open home was conducted at a residence on Pacific Parade, Dee Why during which personal items of the occupant went missing.

The man reported the incident to officers from Dee Why Police Station who began an investigation.

Following inquiries, a person of interest was identified.

Today (Tuesday October 24 2018), officers from the Northern Beaches Local Area Command executed a search warrant at a home on Kanimbla Crescent, Bilgola Plateau where a number of items were seized.

A 38-year-old woman was arrested and taken to Manly Police station where she was charged with six counts of dishonestly obtain goods by deception and one count of steal from dwelling.

She was given conditional bail to appear at Manly Local Court on 21 November 2018.
