Woman charged following theft of mail in Collingwood

Melbourne North Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged a 24-year-old woman after mail was allegedly stolen from an apartment complex in Collingwood last month, Victoria Police say.

It is alleged that mail was stolen from locked and unlocked mail boxes located at the Mater Street complex on 4 May and again on 17 May.

A Port Melbourne woman was arrested today and charged with theft and handle stolen goods.

She is currently at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court.
