Woman dies after Balwyn North collision

Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal collision in Balwyn North last Wednesday, 2 February.

It is believed two cars collided at the intersection of Madden and Tuxen streets around 4.25pm.

A passenger in one of the vehicles was transported to hospital for treatment.

Sadly, the 82-year-old Balwyn North woman died yesterday.

The two drivers, a 22-year-old Clayton South man and a 60-year-old Balwyn North woman, were not injured.

The investigation is ongoing.
