A woman has died after being struck by a motorcycle in Sydney's south west over the weekend.
About 9.25pm on Saturday (30 August 2025), emergency services were called westbound on the M5 Motorway, Revesby, following reports of a crash.
Officers attached to Bankstown Police Area Command found an SUV passenger – stopped in an emergency bay – was struck by a motorcycle.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated a 37-year-old woman at the scene before she was taken to Liverpool Hospital, where she remained in a critical condition.
The rider – a 19-year-old man – was treated at the scene and taken to the same hospital in a serious but stable condition.
A crime scene was established investigations by the Crash Investigation Unit commenced.
On Monday (1 September 2025), police were notified the 37-year-old woman had died.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
Investigations into the circumstances of the crash are continuing.
