A woman has died after suffering critical burns in a house fire at Blackheath.
Emergency services were called to Park Lane about 1.10am last Friday (25 October 2019), and found a 77-year-old woman with severe burns to her body; a 56-year-old man was also found suffering burns to his hands.
The woman was taken by road ambulance to Concord Hospital but died yesterday afternoon (Saturday 26 October 2019).
The man was treated at Katoomba Hospital and allowed to leave.
Officers attached to Blue Mountains Police Area Command will prepare a report for the information of the Coroner.
