Woman Dies After Crash At Work Site At Bargo

A woman has died following an incident at a work site in Sydney's south west last month.

About 4.40pm on Thursday 30 April 2026, emergency services were called to a construction site on Railside Avenue, Bargo, following reports a pedestrian had been struck by a car.

Officers from Camden Police Area Command responded along with NSW Ambulance paramedics, who treated a 28-year-old woman before she was airlifted to hospital in a critical condition.

The driver, a 55-year-old man, was uninjured and taken to hospital for mandatory testing.

A crime scene was established and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash commenced.

About 3:30pm on Sunday (3 May 2026), police were notified that the woman had died.

Work Safe NSW are investigating.
